Imagine stepping into a place where the scent of fresh earth mingles with the smoky aroma of a campfire. Around you, people are gathered—learning, laughing, and sharing old-world skills in a hands-on, down-to-earth way. One group is tapping into the art of fruit winemaking, while another is learning how to process livestock or craft herbal medicine. Kids are playing in the kid's area, bartering is buzzing in the marketplace, and near the stage, a lively crowd gathers for a homesteading Q&A. This isn’t just a festival—it’s a revival of self-reliance, a place where knowledge is passed down, skills are put to use, and a community of like-minded people comes together to thrive.
What if you could leave for the weekend and come back with the confidence to start a garden, raise backyard chickens, or make your own cheese? What if you could connect with people who share your passion for sustainability, preparedness, and self-sufficiency? At Farm Fest, you’ll dive into over 24 workshops and classes covering everything from foraging and food preservation to DIY tools, permaculture, and alternative energy. You’ll have the chance to trade seeds, shop handcrafted goods, and even join a round of bingo for homesteaders—because learning should be fun! Saturday night, we crank it up with the Homestead Hoedown, a fireside gathering where music, storytelling, and good company bring the weekend full circle.
Come be a part of the Farm Fest movement. Step into a place where skills are shared, friendships are forged, and the simple life is something worth celebrating. Whether you’re here to learn, teach, or just soak in the experience, there’s a seat at the table for you. Join us, and rediscover what it means to truly thrive.

Class Spotlights....
Being self reliant and/or living the homesteading life takes many different skills to be successful. While we couldn't possibly have a class for all those skills, we did gather together an amazing assortment of skilled folks that are willing to share their life experience and knowledge with you. With about 24 different classes spread over 4 stages, kids classes, and workshops..... there is something for everyone! Thanks to those who have volunteered their time to help educate all of us! We have a fun filled, educational weekend planned that you won't want to miss out on. Click the button below to learn more about all the classes...

Activities....

It's not just classes that we have to offer! Education is only part of our mission, we are also here to help us self-reliant folks connect with each other. We will have vendors and artists selling their goods at our marketplace, food vendors, door prizes, bingo, a seed and plant swap, a Friday night family movie under the stars, a Saturday Night Homestead Hoedown, and more! Click the button below to learn more about the activities.

Vendor Spotlights....
Be sure to spend some time at our Marketplace. Featuring local vendors of various items such as crafts, honey, salves, jewelry, jam and jellies, craft pickles, handmade soaps, walking sticks, and soooo much more! Some of our teachers will be set up in the Marketplace selling their goods, so be sure to stop by and support them! Click on the link below to review our vendor spotlights. This section is a work in progress, We're currently working with the vendors to get their vendor spotlight flyers worked up. Check back in for updates!

Where can I stay for the weekend?

Wanting to stay the whole weekend but you live too far away to travel back and forth? Live close but don't want to miss out on anything? We have several options. First, we offer onsite primitive camping. When you purchase tickets, you can add a camping pass to your order. A camping pass will get you a tent spot and a parking spot next to you. Porta-Potties are on site. No open fires at camp spots, a main fire pit area is provided. We also have onsite RV spots with no hookups. Just dry camping. Camp spots are limited. If you need hookups, there are 3 campgrounds within 15 mins that have hookups. Coal Bluff, Low Head Dam, and Leake County Water Park. If you need a hotel, the closest town with quality lodging is Flowood, about a 35 min drive.

Where can I get tickets?
We looked around at ticket prices at other similar events around the country. Many of these weekend events get very, very pricey. We really want to keep this affordable for everyone. We know how hard times are these days. So we priced the tickets lower than vast majority of similar events. But to really help get you the most bang for your buck, we added more speakers and activities than majority of the other events. So, we are offering way more for way less!!!! The whole weekend is packed full of educational opportunities, fun activities, and chances to connect with friendly, like minded folks! Click the button below to see the price list and for the link to purchase tickets.
